Delhi Geoportal is a free centralized single window web application offered by Geospatial Delhi Limited on behalf of Delhi Government, which enables standard access to the selected, very rich and valuable geoinformation generated from DSSDI project and much more to the public. A one stop spatial/nonspatial solution for people's information hunt regarding Delhi state is the attraction of the same. This integrated online geospatial platform assures reliable, accurate and up to date location-based information needed to the public. Some of the important services assures includes location as well as access (mode of conveyance) based information on banking facilities (ATM locator), road/rail/metro/air transport system, tourist destinations, educational institutions, religious and cultural centres etc. The portal aims to promote the utilization of geo spatial data among planners, decision makers and public as well as to improve the quality of information on which people can trust. Delhi geoportal expected to serve a very crucial role in sharing of geospatial information for the delhi residents as well as for the outsiders those who visit the city (tourists, job hunters, students etc.). It helps in avoiding duplicated efforts, inconsistencies, delays, confusion, and wasted resources.
